The world’s most colorful festival is coming to Debrecen at 4 pm on the 5th of April in Kazánház.
Traditionally, Holi is an Indian festival of colors that celebrates spring, love, & new life.
This year, the organizers are trying to recreate the festival as closely as possible to how they experience it back home.
The sub-events and their timing will go on as follows:
- 12 pm – 4 pm: Live music, Henna, Mehendi, Cultural workshop and social games, halal food stalls
- 4 pm – 6 pm: Color Clash: Fight your friends and foe with completely organic-colored powders with the live DJ music outdoors
- 6 pm – 8 pm: Boiler tent pre-party
- 8 pm – 10 pm: UV paint by artists from the crafts, party games
- 10 pm – 11 pm: Grand opening ceremony: Hungarian Folks Drums, Bhangra Budapest, LED/Belly dancers, Desi Dance Society, IDLI-DHOKA Dance Group
- 11 pm – 4 am: A Universe-Themed UV Color After Party with electrifying beats from DJs, insane vibes you have never experienced before.

Regular Full Day: 4500 HUF
- This ticket is valid from 12 pm on the 5th of April 2025 to 4 am on the 6th of April 2025. Free henna at Eid Bazar. Free instant photos from the photo booth. One pack of the Herbal organic color is included with the tickets. UV face paint for the afterparty is included as well. Food is not included in the ticket.
Regular HOLI pass: 4000 HUF
- This ticket is valid from 4 pm on the 5th of April 2025 to 4 am on the 6th of April 202 (12 hours). One pack of the Herbal organic color is included with the tickets. UV face paint for the afterparty is included as well. Food is not included in the ticket.
