Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Debrecen Team invites you on a hiking trip to discover a beautiful trail around the famous UNESCO heritage Tokaj wine region.
After the hike, you will have the chance to enjoy the cultural heritage of Tokaj, have some local wine, or go to a local “Csárda”. Lace-up your comfortable shoes, grab a water bottle and some food, and prepare to embark on a 10 km journey!

It’s a full-day trip on the 12th of October.
The details of the trip:
- Hiking Distance: Approximately 10 km
- Terrain: Mountainous routes with around 400 m of elevation
- Professional wine tasting after the hike
Prices:
- 6000 HUF with ESNcard
- 6500 HUF without ESNcard
What to bring:
- Comfortable hiking shoes
- Water bottle to stay hydrated
- A sense of adventure and curiosity
- Food and snacks to sustain energy
Significant information:
- This is a hike with moderate difficulty.
- Please arrive a little earlier, because the team will use public transport to the starting point and the train will arrive on time.
- It is advised to have a Hungary Pass, but tickets can be purchased separately, too. More information on this after registration.

After the hike, the team comes back to Debrecen by train.
