Easter 2021

Easter is celebrated on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the 20th of March. Hortobágy and Hajdúszoboszló are waiting for everyone.

Easter is the biggest celebration of Christianity, the central feast of the Christ-centered calendar. In addition to religion, it is the celebration of waiting for spring and the coming of spring.

Easter Sunday is the holiest of Christian sacred days. The day commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from his death by crucifixion. It is the end of Easter, and people go to mass. People also give each other Easter eggs.

Easter Monday is a public holiday that has little religious significance but is the occasion for numerous secular customs.
