American Corner Debrecen (Méliusz Library, 19/D Bem Square Debrecen)

Whether you go in costume, with friends, or with your family, there’ll be something for everyone.

What to expect:

To participate:

  1. Register by emailing acdeb.reg@gmail.com to receive the secret passcode to enter.
  2. Let them know who you are coming with, what you plan to bring to the potluck, and if you need a pumpkin to carve.
  3. On October 31, bring a snack, cookies, or a soft drink to share.

The Night of Fear in Apollo Cinema

The Night of Fear is celebrating its 10th anniversary at the Apollo Cinema.

Experience the terror and shiver while having fun with your friends on Halloween night. A movie marathon awaits you at the Apollo Cinema.

The entrance fee for the movie night is 4800 HUF, which entitles you to watch all 4 movies in one of the halls chosen by the customer when purchasing the ticket.

On the day of the event, when handling the ticket, guests get a wristband with which they can move freely during the movie night. After 11 pm, you can only enter the cinema area with a wristband or an untreated ticket, which the security colleague can handle at any time during the night, along with putting on the wristband.

The cinema buffet is open all night.

The Apollo cinema is an alcohol-free institution, so the Night of Fear event also offers alcohol-free entertainment!

Security guards will oversee entry to the cinema area during the movie night. According to the cinema’s rules, alcohol consumption is prohibited throughout the building. Due to the high risk, security guards will check guests’ bags, and alcoholic beverages are not allowed. If you do experience alcohol consumption during screenings, please inform the cinema staff! The organizers reserve the right to refuse entry to the cinema area to drunk, ill-mannered guests.
