Kids’ Corner – „Halloween Edition”

American Corner Debrecen
At the next Kids’ Corner event of the American Corner Debrecen, children can learn about Halloween, do some art and crafts and go „trick-or-treating”. The latter is traditionally done dressed up in costumes, which is encouraged but is not a requirement.
This program is for kids aged 5 to 10. Please note that there will be another Halloween event organized by the American Corner Debrecen and the International Friendship Club, which will be on the 31st of October.
Parents, if your child has a food allergy or dietary restrictions, please let to know in advance and/or bring some alternative to the candies that are traditional at Halloween. You can register for this program by email at debrecenac@gmail.com.
Board Game Afternoon

A fun afternoon to play board games at the American Corner. A wide variety of board games, good company, some popcorn, and soft drinks are given. It is also a perfect opportunity to use English (but not a requirement) and to socialize in an international company.

A night of Thousand Lights: Desert Dreams

In days of yore and times and tides long gone before, wise ones spoke of a hafla that was to become folklore, for one, an eve filled with stars that turned the sky to light. The scorching hot sun the genesis of modern civilization, where scholars birthed astronomy, medicine, and mathematics.
Indulge in a three-course gourmet meal with an array of appetizing options, including meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes. While your food is being served, sit back and appreciate the incredible talent shown through the beautiful light of life.

After a long time of „okay parties”, the biggest after-party of the semester returns to HALL.

For those who would only like to attend the OFFICIAL Desert Dreams after party, separate tickets can be purchased during the ticket sales prior to the event or at the doors at HALL after 11 pm on 22nd of October.

This event is restricted to at least 18-year-old of age and for university students only (Student ID or Unipass will be required)
You want to come but have friends who are not students?? Do not worry!
A University of Debrecen student can register one guest (who is not a university student) by filling out this google form https://forms.gle/pPkJzziMBBLzHv6k8 before 8 pm on the 21st of October. Your registered guest can purchase the ticket at the door on the night of the event.
