Can’t you even count how many clothes you have that are just taking the space in your wardrobe, but you don’t wear them anymore? The Pull and Bear and TEXAID team launched a cloth recycling program called #joinlife.

Garments intended for recycling are waiting in the clothes collectors placed in Pull and Bear shops, from which recycled clothing items are made within the framework of the initiative.
What do you have to do?
- Choose the clothes you don’t wear anymore!
- Take them to the clothes bins in Pull and Bear stores!
- Let the TEXAID and Pull and Bear teams create new, sustainable fashion from old clothes!
The Pull and Bear store, which can also be found in the FÓRUM Debrecen Shopping Center, works together with the TEXAID company for sustainable development: they welcome unused clothes in their stores for recycling, so that they can galvanize life into them again.
What is TEXAID?
TEXAID Kft., based in Bélapátfalva, became the Hungarian subsidiary of TEXAID in 2008. The company examines and sorts circa 3,600 tons of hand-me-down clothes according to several quality criteria yearly. Unfit textiles from sorting plants in Germany and Switzerland are processed into cleaning cloths.
Pull&Bear, the Inditex-owned fashion brand, joins the sustainability movement with an eco-friendly clothing collection as part of the Join Life initiative, which has been introduced by other Inditex brands. Zara was the first brand to launch an eco-friendly collection, followed by Massimo Dutti, Bershka, and Oysho.
