According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, it is sure that Cristiano Ronaldo will leave Juventus before the transfer deal closes (August 31) because Jorge Mendes is working hard to find a new team for his protégé.
According to Italian rumors, Manchester City may be the only club that can fund him. However, the French press is confident that Paris Saint-Germain would give Ronaldo a glad hand. The 35-year-old attacker’s contract expires at the club from Turin next year. So, he can switch clubs for a “token-money” this summer.
The situation is more complicated for the Parisians because the PSG is currently in initial negotiations with Real Madrid to transfer Kylian Mbappé.
If PSG manages to dispose of Mbappe, then the two geniuses of the 21st century, Ronaldo and Lionel Messi could play in the same team at the end of their careers.
