No for Sylvester, Yes for Vaccine

On the 7th of December, Viktor Orbán made a speech on his Facebook page about the restrictions. He consulted epidemiological specialists about the status of the country. The same day, the registration for the vaccination has started.

The restrictions hold good until the 11th of January. The government will decide the case of Christmas on the 21st of December maybe it will be an exception so we can go home from our beloved one’s place after 8 pm. But it is already sure that parties will not be allowed on New Year’s Eve because of the curfew between 8 pm and 5 am, ban of events and prohibition of assembly.

The Prime Minister thanked the employees of hospitals and teachers for their hard work. He also told that the vaccine is within a reasonable distance.

Csaba Dömötör, Secretary of State of the Prime Minister’s Office, announced on the same day on his Facebook page that we can register for the coronavirus vaccination on the internet on vakcinainfo.gov.hu website. The site also informs the registered person when it is his or her turn and gives information about the pandemic.

The vaccinations can be started when a safe vaccine approved by the Hungarian authorities is available. The process of the vaccinations will be based on a plan.

The order of vaccinations is not determined by the date of registration but by the degree of risk, and priority is given to those involved in the defense.

Mass vaccination will mark a new phase in the fight against the virus.
