IsraelinHungary and Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade organize an English-language free online webinar at 10 am – 12 pm (CET) on the 19th of July on ZOOM.
With more and more people on the planet, we need to produce more food using less water. The role of smart and cleaner processes is increasing.
Israel has one of the fastest-growing knowledge-based economies in the world. It is frequently called a startup nation. Most of its exports come from innovative industries, including water management and agriculture.
Israeli researchers pioneered ground-breaking water technologies such as drip irrigation, water recycling, and desalination, positioning Israel as a global leader in this field. Today more than 80 percent of Israeli household wastewater is recycled for agriculture use.
The first secret of Israeli agriculture is drip irrigation, a system, which drips water directly into plant roots. Nowadays, the advanced control and monitoring open platform wraps up 50 years of experience put up in the Cloud using this Big Data to serve every farmer worldwide.
There are many other Israeli agriculture innovations and technologies that are making farming more efficient and sustainable. The AgriData webinar will introduce some of them.
