As part of the second phase of the Varázserdő project, the Aquaticum stop and four gateways on the Pallagi út tramway will be rebuilt in Nagyerdő, announced DKV Zrt.
That is why, tram number 1 will not run on the section between Nagyerdei körút and Klinikák of Pallagi út from the start of operation on Tuesday, the 6th of April, until the completion of the work on Sunday, the 6th of June. You can only travel on the line by transfer, skipping the Aquaticum stop.
Due to the derail, on the line of tram number 1, the runs will run in two sections:
Section 1: Nagyállomás – Nagyerdei körút – Nagyállomás
Section 2: Medgyessy sétány – Klinikák – Medgyessy sétány (shuttle)

Shuttle:
- DKV asks drivers to pay enhanced attention to the fact that tram number 1 shuttles between the Medgyessy sétány and the Klinikák stops, which means that the arrival of the trains must be expected from a different direction than usual.
Getting to the University/Klinikák:
- At the Nagyerdei körút stop, after getting off, you can take a tram from the Medgyessy sétány stop in the direction of the University/Klinikák and back.
Getting to the Nagyállomás:
- You can take a tram from the Klinikák stop to the Medgyessy sétány stop. From there, you must change to the tram starting from the Nagyerdei körút stop to Nagyállomás stop. Passengers are reminded that runs to the Nagyállomás can get in or get off at Weszprémy út instead of Andaházi út.
The ticket validated at the beginning of the transport is usable after the transfer, but it must be validated on all vehicles.
Non-transfer travel:
- It is also pointed out, that on the section between the Nagyállomás and the Klinikák non-transfer travel is also possible on bus numbers 10, 10A, and 10Y.
DKV Zrt. thanks to the passengers for their understanding and patience.
