The Debrecen Baptist English Ministries organizes Bible Studies in the Baptist Church near Forum in Szappanos Street 23 at 6:30 pm on Mondays.
It consists of students, international residents, and Hungarians who want to be part of an English-speaking community. The English Bible Study is for everyone who wants to study the Bible in English and be part of an English-speaking community. The group is for both Hungarians and international residents. English-speaking professionals, university students, and high school students make up most of the group.
Every Monday, there is Biblical teaching, prayer, worship, discussion, and community-building activities in the Baptist Church and online. The pastors are Jon and Amanda Good, a Baptist servant from America. He waits for everyone with delicious foods (like hotdogs or pizza).
The Bible Studies offer the following:

In case you cannot go to the church, there is a private Facebook group where you can communicate. They stream the worship online at 7 pm on Mondays in this group, so you don’t miss the service even if you can’t go in person. The study is followed by Facebook Messenger talks and prayers in small groups.
The Debrecen Baptist English Ministries organize other events on other days of the week too. For example, Young Adult Community Meeting, game or movie nights.
