Would you be interested in a program where you could travel around the country and get to know other medical university cities and communities? Then this program is for you.
The Hungarian Medical Students’ International Relations Committee (HuMSIRC) and the International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA) Hungary are organizing an opportunity for you. In this short-term twinning (3-4 days), each participant is paired with another university student, with whom they participate in professional and social activities together. If you are a participant, you will need to host your twin and take care of her/him. For example, you provide two meals a day, or you will buy public transportation tickets for your twin.
In the different cities, the hosts are going to prepare a social and educational program for you, and you will enjoy them while you can build significant and lifelong friendships.
If you are a medical student in Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs, or Szeged, this opportunity is for you. Both Hungarian and international students are welcome.
There is a needs assessment questionnaire that you can fill out if you are interested.
HuMSIRC is the largest of the Hungarian student unions, with about 800 medical students nationwide. It belongs to the IFMSA.
The IFMSA is one of the world’s oldest and largest student-run organizations, founded in 1951. It represents, connects, and engages every day with an inspiring and engaging network of 1.3 million medical students from 139 national member organizations in 130 countries around the globe. IFMSA is recognized as a non-governmental organization within the United Nations and the WHO and works with the World Medical Association.
