Anna Dobó’s research, part of a PhD dissertation in progress, examines the role of peer relationships in the integration of international students. The aim of the research is to explore what types of interpersonal and intercultural relationships help or hinder local integration and how this affects students’ well-being and long-term intentions to stay.
The study is funded by the University Excellence Scholarship Program (EKÖP) and focuses on the social networks in which foreign students studying at the University of Debrecen are involved and how these influence their integration into the host society.
A questionnaire survey is currently being conducted in connection with research, for which applications from international students are invited. The questionnaire is in English, anonymous and takes only a few minutes to complete. Your responses will be processed anonymously and used solely for scientific purposes. Completing the questionnaire takes approximately 10 minutes.
