The Campus Festival is just around the corner; running from the 22nd to the 25th of July, the event—which boasts the largest lineup of Hungarian musicians — promises a wealth of concerts and musical experiences for the audience. The full program is already available on the website.
At this year’s Campus Festival, we can see international acts such as the Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren—one of the most influential figures in the trance genre and a multiple-time winner of the “World’s Best DJ” title. The German electronic music group Scooter Also appearing is the German electronic music group Scooter, founded in Hamburg in 1993, will also be performing. The band is known for its energetic techno-rave style and its iconic frontman, H.P. Baxxter. With over 30 million albums sold and sold-out shows across Europe, Scooter remains a pivotal force in the modern electronic dance music scene.
The lineup also includes top Hungarian stars: Azahriah, ByeAlex és a Slepp, Tankcsapda, Majka, Bagossy Brothers Company, VALMAR, Halott Pénz, Magdi Rúzsa, Quimby, Parno Graszt, Beton.Hofi, Bohemian Betyars, Bogi Nagy, Honeybeast and Mary Nótár will all be performing. In addition to festival favourites from Hungary, a key characteristic of Campus Festival is its strong support for productions with ties to Debrecen, offering a stage to nearly the entire spectrum of the domestic music scene, without genre limitations.
The University of Debrecen is also participating in the event, featuring a range of interesting and topical panel discussions and performances on the Unipass-Alumni Stage.
