Filmbox Live is a streaming service of SPI International. The international company currently operates 16 TV channels in 33 languages ​​on 4 continents and has 25 million subscribers.

As a home entertainment company, it has several partner companies worldwide (Samsung, LG, Phillips, Sony, etc.).

+ ADVANTAGES

• There is a 1-week trial period. If we cancel the service during this time, we will not have to pay for it.
• The price is only 1490 Ft/month, and the price is automatically deducted from the account until you don’t cancel it. You can cancel your subscription by sending an e-mail with the subject ‘Cancel’ to support@filmbox.com.
• FilmBox Live is available worldwide.
• The movies have a Hungarian dub with a few exceptions. They can have the original dub; it varies from movie to movie. There used to be Romanian subtitles for movies, but that’s because there’s no Romanian dubbing.
• Filmbox has original content that can only be accessed legally here (e.g. The Dark House).

– DISADVANTAGES

• There isn’t parental control.
• It can be used on one device with one subscription.
• It is only on the internet, so anyone who doesn’t have a smart TV or set-top box can only watch it on a computer and smart devices. You need to download an app to your smart devices. You need a continuous broadband Internet connection to use it.

FUNCTIONS
You can search for movies (e.g. by title, actors, or director). You can also change the dubbing and subtitle while watching. You can backward and forward 10 seconds in playback. You can mark shows as favorites (making them more accessible, useful for series). You can resume the show from where you left off earlier. If you have slow internet, you can manually set the picture quality in the video player from 1080p (Full HD) to 360p. You can also set the playback speed.

IS IT WORTH?
HBO Go is a more expensive but much better alternative with more English-language content, so I recommend HBO Go instead of Filmbox Live.
