The Buddy program connects local students with incoming Erasmus and exchange students to assist them in their initial integration. Tasks include picking them up at the station, helping find accommodation, showing them around the city, and assisting with official matters (immigration, opening a bank account, NEPTUN, etc.). Throughout the semester, ESN Debrecen organizes events to bring together buddies and exchange students.
Buddies become the main support system for exchange students during their stay, offering guidance and help.
