DKV prices are rising

From the 1^st of January 2025, the price of tickets and passes valid for scheduled runs of DKV will change, as well as the amount and deadline for additional fees. The price of the paper-based general monthly pass increases by 15%.

December 2024 monthly, fourth quarter 2024 and 2024 annual passes can be used for travel until closing on the 7^th of January 2025.

A significant change is that from the 1^st of January 2025, DKV will remove the student and pensioner quarterly pass!

The company’s ticket and pass prices from the 1^st of January:

Single ticket:

• Mobile: 480 HUF
• Paper: 500 HUF

1-hour ticket (only mobile):

A single ticket purchased on board (only paper):

PENALTY FEES

• Payment on the spot or within the same day: 7000 HUF
• Payment within 10 calendar days: 10 000 HUF
• Payment within 11-45 calendar days: 18 000 HUF
• Payment beyond 45 calendar days: 30 000 HUF
• If passengers can show the inspector their valid passes proving their travel entitlement and write the required numbers on them, must pay the penalty fare: 1000 HUF
• If they cannot present a valid pass during the inspection, DKV will allow them to do so later. Tickets can be shown within 5 working days after checking at our Customer Service Points during opening hours. Only passes purchased at least one day before the checking date are accepted subsequently. The penalty fee when presenting your pass later is: 7000 HUF
