The largest display of castle replicas is 47 and was achieved by Zoltán Alekszi (Hungary) in Dinnyés, Hungary, on the 8th of January 2023. When he was 12 years old, Zoltán read a book called “Egri csillagok” (The stars of Eger). It is about the siege of Eger in 1552. The book enchanted him so much that it inspired his Castle Park. When asked how the castles are made, Zoltán says that he first conducts research, searching for available excavation floor plans, then consults with historians and collects relevant documents from libraries and archives. Once he has enough information on the castle, he begins to build it from materials that match the material of the original castle (wood, stone, brick, etc.).
