The registration for the biggest talent show at the University of Debrecen will end on the 14^th of April. The online event is organized by the student unions of the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Science and Technology, and the Faculty of Music.

Before the pandemic, the Student Union of the Faculty of Humanities (henceforth: BTK HÖK) traditionally organized a talent contest every year. This year, the talent contest takes place once again but in a brand new format as it is organized not only by BTK HÖK but also by the Student Union of the Faculty of Science and Technology (TTK HÖK) and the Student Union of the Faculty of Music (ZK HÖK). They re-imagined and reconstructed the event together to organize the event online so Your dreams – despite the pandemic – could come true with UDream.

Only students of the University of Debrecen can participate. In case of team registration (for instance, dance group, music band, etc.) at least half of the team members must be UD students.

There will be 3 rounds. In the first round, you have to send a video about your performance. 4 judges will rate your footage, and the top 20 will advance to the next round. For the week after (that is the time of Round 2), you have to send another video of your new show. In the second round, HÖK will broadcast live how the judges rate your videos and decide the top 5 competitors who will advance to the Final. The Final will also be streamed live on the Internet so you can follow who will win UDream.

The best performances can win the following prizes:

• Winner – 100,000 HUF
• Runner-up – 80,000 HUF
• 3^rd place – 60,000 HUF
• 4^th place – UD Shop voucher worth 20,000 HUF
• 5^th place – UD Shop voucher worth 20,000 HUF
• Special Prize – A chance to play at ODEon Theatre + UD Shop voucher 20,000 HUF
