The Student Union of the University of Debrecen is organizing the 8th season of the University Electronic Games (UEG) free online e-sport event starting on the 31st of March. The competitors who make it to the finals will play in person at the E-sport Center on the 14th of May.
Players can test their skills in 9 games.

REGISTRATION

The entry is not yet valid with the registration. After registration, everyone must register for the given game in the “Join Events” menu. In team games: after the registration of the team leader, he/she must fill in the „Team Registration Form”. After the registration is closed, applicants will be notified about the exact schedule by email.
The event is an online event, each participant plays on the event from their own device, from home in Hungary (with EU IP). If you try to play from a foreign country, you will be disqualified because your ping will be high. The finals are planned to be held offline as a big show.
The application deadline is 11:59 pm on the 30th of March 2025.
WHO CAN APPLY?
1 player can apply for more games.
Only University citizens of Debrecen can apply. The following are citizens of the University of Debrecen: all active full-time or correspondence course students, Ph.D. students, employees, or alumni (already graduated from the university).
Team games:
1 player can apply for more games, but in 1 game can participate only in 1 team.
The team has a maximum of 3 non-university students! The team can have a maximum of 7 members. Substitutions must be registered in advance. There will be no possibility of exchanges in teams later.
Rocket League: The team can have a maximum of 4 members. The team has a maximum of 2 non-university students!
OFFLINE FINALS
As in the previous seasons, the UEG organizers plan to organize the finals offline, within the framework of a personal event! Those who reach the finals of a given game automatically qualify for the event, which will be held on the 14th of May 2025 at the E-sport Center of the University of Debrecen. The players who made it to the finals only participated in the finals in person. There is no possibility of substitution or online participation! The affected players will receive detailed information on the discord server or by e-mail.
On the day of the event, if necessary, the organizers will provide students with a certificate of class absences.
The organizers will optionally offer the teams that reached the semi-finals whether they want to conduct the semi-finals offline in the e-sports center of the University of Debrecen.
AWARDS
The total prize pool is more than 1 million Hungarian forints in gamer stuff.
Scholarship awards can only be given to active students at the University of Debrecen who have a Hungarian bank account number and a Hungarian tax number!
