The International School of Debrecen (henceforth: ISD) invites all prospective parents to a virtual open day to learn more about their school and programs on Zoom at 10 am on the 13th of January. This session is for children in the age of Kindergarten and Primary Years. Registration is required.
During the session, they introduce the school and its educational programs. This includes the philosophy of the International Baccalaureate, specific information about the Early Childhood and the Primary Years Programme, sharing about what learning looks like at ISD, and a Q&A session to talk about the parents’ questions.

The 50-minute-long session of the Kindergarten (for 3-6-year-old children) and Primary Years Programme (for 6-11-year-old kids) starts on Zoom at 10 am on the 13th of January.
This visual presentation outlines what ISD can offer students in terms of education, school life, and further study careers. The organizers present the building and campus of the ISD as well as the philosophy of the International Baccalaureate. Also, participants will be introduced to the educational program of the school and will have the opportunity to ask the program coordinators, teachers, and principals at the end of the session.
The virtual open day will take place on the virtual platform Zoom. The hosts and speakers will include the director and the two program-level principals of the Primary Years Programme (kindergarten and lower grades) and the Middle Years Programme (upper grades).

You have to register on this link in advance to participate.
Pay attention to the following:
- enter your full name;
- use an e-mail address that you have access to before and during the Zoom meeting;
- enter your phone number (for unexpected cases in connection with the open day);
- indicate the date of the selected open day (13th January).
Before the Zoom meeting starts, make sure you have the link and password. These will be sent out one workday before the event to your e-mail address, and this will allow you to access the Zoom interface. You will need a computer or phone and an internet connection, optionally a microphone and camera for the participation.
Although a virtual open day cannot replace a face-to-face meeting, the organizers hope to give you a glimpse into their school and school life at ISD.
