The Giant Semester Opening Show of the University of Debrecen will take place on the 18th of September at the Nagyerdei Stadium. Doors open: 6.30 pm.
This year, spectacular show elements and fantastic performers are waiting for you. On the gigantic stage, you’ll see stars like Topic, Halott Pénz, Manuel, LGT Zenevonat, and the Király Brothers. Let’s kick off the academic year with a huge party!
The interest is huge, which is why sectors A1-D7-D8 have been opened for university citizens, so even more places are available. Last year, more than 20,000 people celebrated together – let’s break that record this year and party with even more people!
Ground-level tickets are available at a discounted price of 1,900 HUF for students. Each university citizen can purchase tickets for themselves and up to three additional people.

or in person at the ticket offices of Nagyerdei Stadium, next to the Zoo entrance, between 10 am and 6 pm.
You can pick up the wristband for the ground-level tickets until 8 pm on the 17th of September at the Fórum Shopping Center (level -1) too.
If you bought a ticket for a seated sector, you could enter on the day of the event via the elevated sidewalks (1, 2), and it is not necessary to take a wristband.
Important information:
- This year, you can buy your ticket on the website of the Nagyerdei Stadium with a balance added to the UniPass card.
- It is advised you to come by bus, tram, taxi or on foot to avoid traffic jams.
- To make entering the premises as smooth as possible, please make sure you arrive by 6 pm at the gates.
- The weather can be erratic in September, so make sure you’re prepared for all conditions! Dress code: green, yellow!
- Make sure you print your ticket in case your phone dies.
- No flammable/sharp objects and no bottles are allowed.
