After a year of hiatus, the Zamat Festival was organized again in Debrecen. The gastronomic event awaited those interested with interesting and tasty programs in a tent of 3000 square meters next to the Nagyerdei Stadion from the 17th to the 19th of September.
It was already the 10th Zamat Festival. Well-known performers from all over the country (such as the semi-African stand-up comedian Musimbe Dennis) also took part in the event, where attendees could taste food from not only Hungarian but also other nations.
Our ex-colleague, the Filipino Merell Lystra Ledesma, and her friends were also there. They surprised visitors who were open to the food of other cultures with Filipino food. Alongside them, there were food specialties from Pakistan, Egypt, and South Africa, among others.

Interesting to add: At the event, the sausage of the University of Debrecen won the title of the best Debrecen twin sausage.
