HALMS Hungary Ltd., the domestic company of the Chinese Huashuo Technology Co Ltd., will produce aluminum alloys for batteries. HALMS will build its new factory in cooperation with Xanga in the Southern Economic Zone.
It seems that, this is the week of announcements in Debrecen, as the sales contract for the future area of the CATL factory in Debrecen was signed yesterday.
According to MTI’s report, the Hungarian government will provide almost HUF 1.5 billion in support for the investment planned in the county seat, which was announced by Levente Magyar, the parliamentary secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. He added that

Matthew Shen, the managing director of Halms Hungary Ltd., said in his speech that the owner company Huashou provides
innovative, integrated solutions to the world’s car factories and electric vehicle factories, mainly producing aluminum parts.
He added that the company decided to invest in Debrecen, where digitized, automated production lines will be operated, to maintain closer contact with European customers.

during the global economic crisis, another Chinese investment was realized in the Southern Economic Zone in Debrecen, where Huashou’s investment will be the third Chinese investment. As the European city of the future, Debrecen is becoming the center of electromobility. The city’s several educational institutions, the airport, the well-developed industrial infrastructure, and the availability of expertise contribute to the investment-friendly environment.
